Mika is a new wave indie/pop artist who appeared to have "come out of no-where". He was born in Beirut in the mid-80's, and his career started when he was very young, at only 9 years old. He did everything, from recordings with the Royal Opera House, to a jingle for an Orbit Chewing Gum advertisement. A self-taught pianist, he was described 'a prodigial musician, with a natural talent for music'. He made his professional UK debut with the smash hit 'Grace Kelly', grabbing number 1 with his colourful and happy-style singing. He released his first album recently, called 'Life in Cartoon Motion' on 5th February 2007, and his new single 'Love Today', taken from his album, is out now.
