Dir En Grey is a Japanese band formed in 1997 consisting of the band members Kyo [vocals], Kaoru [guitar], Toshiyu [bass], Die [guitar], and Shinya [drums].
They soon starting touring in America around 2006.
The name Dir En Grey was only chosen because it "sounded right", the common interpretation of this band is "You In Grey"; [Dir meaning you in German, En meaning in in Spanish, and Grey meaning grey in English.]
The band has five former albums and the newest one, that came out this year, around February, "The Marrow of a Bone", with the single "Agitated Screams of Maggots";
The band's videos "Saku" and "Clever Sleazoid" are fastly spreading on most music channels; expecially FUSE. |
