Avril Ramona Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984, Belleville, Ontario, Canada and she is a Canadian rock singer. She was first noticed at the age of two, when her mother said that she was singing along to church songs. The family moved to Napanee, Ontario when Avril was five.
Let Go was released on June 4, 2002 in the USA, reaching number two there and number one in Australia, Canada and United Kingdom.
After Let Go, she wrote Complicated which became number one in Australia, which led her on to Sk8er Boi, which THEN led on to Torn. Im With You and Losing Grip both came into the top ten, and Losing Grip reached the top ten in Taiwan, and the top 20 in Chile.
